Boddie Cemetery
Bienville, Bienville Parish, Louisiana

Lat: 32° 21' 42"N, Lon: 93° 01' 22W
T15N R6W Sec 19

Contributed by Maxine Morgan, Jun 24, 2008, last edited Jul 09, 2008 [memawmor@aol.com]. Total records = 14.

From Bienville drive west on Hwy 507 for 2.7 miles. Turn left at the Boddie Cemetery sign and continue on this road into the cemetery.

We were unable to find any further information on the history of this small cemetery. It appears to be a family cemetery which dates back to at least 1871.

This cemetery is no longer in use and was not overgrown, but it is not kept up well.

Jimmy Morgan and I visited and read this cemetery on Sep 12, 2006. This includes all existing and legible stones and markers that we could find or dig up at that time.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
