Hyde Park Cemetery
Dorrance, Russell County, Kansas

Lat: 38° 47' 05"N, Lon: 98° 40' 11"W
Center Twp, Sec 32

Contributed by Arlene White, Jan 16, 2004.  Total records = 56.

To reach cemetery, drive south out of Dorrance on hwy 231 till you are 1 mi. S. of Lincoln Rd & 195th intersection (south of the Smoky Hill River) then west on Lincoln Rd.

There are several other stone post markers without names or dates. The cemetery is well kept and appears to be accepting burials. I have found no information as to the origin or ownership of this cemetery as yet.

I have transcribed from visual inspection of the headstones, which was completed on Oct 14, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
