To reach Fairview Cemetery from Hutchinson KS, drive west starting at the Arkansas River Bridge on West Fourth Avenue about 8 miles. Or from State Hwy 14 and W Fourth Ave, drive east for about one mile. The cemetery is on the north side of the street at the intersection with South Fairview Road.

This small cemetery is owned and maintained by the Fairview Methodist Church. The cemetery is next to the church and is surrounded by a fence. It is very well maintained & appears to be still active.

I walked and read this cemetery on Jun 03, 2005. It includes all existing and legible headstone readings.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
