Sherman Township, Section 6

Contact: Sherman Township

Contributed by Linda Lewis, Aug 24, 2007, last edited Aug 27, 2007 [webmaster@cottonhills.com]. Total records = 39.

Directions: From Linwood KS, take KS-32 East. Turn left on Cantrell Roadd then turn right onto 190th Street. The cemetery is on the east side of the road.

I did not find out the history of this very old cemetery. Judging from the existing stones, it was established around 1870, and is maintained by the Sherman Township at this time.

I completed this transcription by reading and photographing all existing and legible gravestones on Jul 05, 2007. Photos available upon request.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
