From Kansas City MO, take I35 S to US-56 W exit to Gardner. Turn left at US 56. Continue on W175th St (US 56), and turn right on Clare Rd. Turn right on W 199th St. Turn right on Cedar Niles Rd. Continue about 1/2 mile north. Cemetery is on the east (right) side of the road surrounded by fields.

Fuller is a family cemetery located in what is still today a rural area south of Gardner, KS. It appears that all of the people in this cemetery are part of the Fuller family by ancestry or marriage.

I transcribed this cemetery by reading and photographing the headstones and this is a complete transcription. Most of the stones appear to be local rock, and the names and inscriptions chiseled on. Some of the stones are almost entirely unreadable at this time.

I compared my transcription to a transcription from the early 1970s, found in the Johnson Co. Cemetery Index, Johnson Co. Genealogical Society and Library, 1975, and was able to fill in some of the information that is now obliterated.

I completed this transcription on Aug 28, 2005.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
