Cross cemetery is marked by a memorial area on a commercial corner in the town of Mission, KS. The two stones found here are mounted in a red brick wall. In front of the wall is a granite stone that states "Dedicated to the Pioneers of this Community" and the area is backed by a wrought-iron fence.

This memorial displaying the only remaining stones from the cemetery is situated in one corner of the cemetery, and the rest is paved over by a strip mall. It is believe that none of the burials have been removed.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
