I surveyed this cemetery in July of 2001. There were many unmarked graves, which means there are others buried here.

This includes all the headstones in the cemetery at this time. We are wondering if some are covered with dirt. My husbands parents owned land next to the cemetery. As a young boy my husband remembers more markers but was thinking some of them were probably wooden crosses. And some of the graves have been dug up and moved, taking the headstones with them. We now mow this cemetery and are in the process of trying to get the stones fixed (as some of them have fallen over or broke). The cemetery was never platted at the courthouse so there is no other record except from people that have walked it.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
