Bethel Cemetery
Edwards County, Kansas

Lat: 37° 44' 04"N, Lon: 99° 24' 47"W
South Brown Twp, R19W Sec 33

Contributed by Linda Brower, Feb 02, 2006 [ltbrower@yahoo.com]. Total records = 198.

To reach this cemetery from Greensburg, take Hwy 54 west 6 miles and then north 10 miles on 17th Ave. It is just north of the intersection of 17th Ave and A Street.

The Bethel Cemtery is located in rural Edwards County, Kansas, on the Kiowa-Edwards County line. Judging from the existing stones, it appears to have started in the late 1800s and is still used occasionally today.

This is a complete list of all existing and legible stones and markers found when I canvassed I this cemetery on May 17, 2003.

cemetery records

A free online library of cemetery records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

Clear Digital Media, Inc.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
