The cemetery is located 3 blocks east and 6 blocks north of the four way stop in Towanda Kansas, on both sides of the street.

This cemetery was started in 1868 on land donated by Isaac Mooney. It is now owned and very well maintained by the Towanda Township.

The transcription is from tombstone inscriptions, sexton records, previous transcriptions and was completed in the Fall of 2004 by Teresa Murphy and Kendall McNeal.
