Rob Hill Cemetery
Centerton, Morgan County, Indiana

Lat: 39° 30' 51"N, Lon: 86° 25' 59"W
Clay Twp, Sec 33

Contributed by Jeff Curtis, Aug 25, 2006 [jefftcurtis@earthlink.net]. Total records = 19.

To get to this cemetery from Centerton, you go west on Rob Hill Road from IN Hwy 67. The cemetery is on top of a hill just after the road crosses Sycamore Creek.

Some records indicate the Willow Grove Nazarene Church used to be near the Rob Hill Cemetery.

Recent information from the Morgan County genealogical Society indicates there are no complete stones intact in this cemetery. Even in 1967 the Cowens commented that the cemetery was in poor condition.

I have transcribed, with permission, from work completed in Sep of 1967 by Carl and Janet Cowen, when they read all existing and legible stones.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
