North Branch Cemetery
Allman, Morgan County, Indiana

Lat: 39° 37' 47"N, Lon: 86° 27' 13"W
Monroe Twp, Sec 29

Contributed by Jeff Curtis, Sep 15, 2006 [jefftcurtis@earthlink.net]. Total records = 109.

This cemetery is on the south side of County Line Rd. in the short area of this road that is west of I 70. From SR267 north of Mooresville, go west on County Line Rd./CR1400N (Hendricks CR875S/Joppa Rd.) for 2.5 miles to a "T" intersection, turn north (right) on Hendricks CR525E and cross I 70, then go west (left) on CR850S for one mile, and south (left) on CR425E, which curves to become County Line Rd. From SR39 about 1.4 mile north of I 70, go east on Hendricks CR875S. This road curves south to become County Line Rd.

This Friends cemetery is in excellent condition and is very well cared for. While there have been recent burials, they are few, and all burials from the last 2 3 years had small temporary markers on them. Permanent stones had also been added to some of those.

It was initially transcribed by Janet and Carl Cowen in Apr of 1968. I visited the cemetery today, Sep 15, 2006, and recorded all burials done after April 1968.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
