Total records = 1,822 National Cemetery LotThe Crown Hill National Cemetery lies on the grounds of Crown Hill (private) Cemetery. Records of burials were provided to this website by the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs, on July 2, 2000. This is not a complete list of burials, only those that are on file with the VA.
Confederate Soldier's LotThe remains of 1,616 Confederate prisoners of war who died at Camp Morton in Indianapolis during the Civil War were originally buried in Greenlaw Cemetery. In 1931, their remains were reburied in Crown Hill Cemetery. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has records for only 957.
