Lininger Cemetery
Huntington County, Indiana

Lat: 40° 55' 53"N, Lon: 85° 28' 29"W

Contributed by Ellen Callahan, May 29, 2003 [gingerabbit2@hotmail.com]. Total records = 12.

Linginger cemetery is on 700N about a fourth mile west of Hwy 9, in Clear Creek Twp.

The cemetery in past years had been unkempt and overgrown. A couple of years ago a boy scout made it his project to start a restoration of the cemetery and it is still continuing, only a few tombstones have been located.

This is a list of only tombstone readings, which I did in May 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
