Entrician Cemetery
Laconia, Harrison County, Indiana

Lat: 38° 01' 46"N, Lon: 86° 06' 22"W
Boone Township, Section 31

Contributed by Gregory Kingsley, May 22, 2004 [okiemo@ix.netcom.com]. Total records = 14.

To reach cemetery drive west 1 mile out of Laconia on Hwy 11, then south on Poplar.

It is not certain who owned and mainained this cemetery at the beginning. May have been an overflow cemetery from the Holliday cemetery 1 mile away. It also may have been a family or a church cemetery.

I have compared my reading with one done on Jun 23, 1940 by Samuel P. Hays and Frederic P. Griffin. This may not be all of the burials.

A cemetery clean-up is in progress, and a more accurate list will be made at that time. I transcribed this list on May 20, 2004. There are many unmarked graves.
