Hawk Cemetery is located approximately 4 miles east of Route 89 on County Road 2200N, on the right/south side of road.

No roads lead into the cemetery, it is surrounded by corn fields, protected by an old fence.

This is a small family cemetery, which has the earliest grave dated 1877, with the last burial in 1914. No maintenance is done to the cemetery.

I visited and read this cemetery on Apr 01, 2006. This includes all existing and legible headstones.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
