Lat: 40° 08' 47"N, Lon: 90° 45' 23"W
Camden Twp, T2N R3W Sec 20

Submitted by Pat Regan, Jul 05, 2006 [pregan@bossig.com] Total records = 82.

To reach this cemetery in Camden, from State Hwy 99 take Lawson Road east out of town, turn right or south onto Waitman Lane. Turn left into the cemetery.

This family cemetery is fenced and well cared for and was recorded in Deed Book 92, Page 95, dated Mar 11, 1911.

I have transcribed the following using information from the Schuylerite Vol. 3 No. 3 Fall 1974, as submitted by Hilma Mermillion and her father, John Feld Henry Marlow and Sophia Marlow, his wife to The Trustee of the Weightman Cemetery. Some of the information has come from family records.

Commencing 21 Rods north of the South-east corner of the north-east Quarter of Section 20, thence West 40 links, thence North 15 Rods, thence East 40 links, thence South 15 Rods to the place of the beginning. All in township 2 North of the Base Line Range 3 West of the 4 th Principal Meridian, all in Schuyler County, Illinois.

I completed my transcription of this cemetery Sep 12, 2005.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
