Water Valley Cemetery is located in Jackson Co. Illinois near Cobden, IL. east off route 51. This is an old cemetery with little or no care, many of the gravestones have been destroyed and damaged by mowing over the years.  Surveyed May 21, 1999.

     this stone is missing, when I was there several years ago it was to the
     right of his wife Martha Jane Fly Henley, Billy, as he was called, was a
     stagecoach for Abraham Lincoln, there was a inscription on his stone
     stating he had driven a coach for Abraham Lincoln.
