Island Park cemetery is located 2.5 miles north of Mack's Inn, in the Henry's Lake flat. It is on the east side of State Hiway 20.

The property was donated to the communty of Island Park in the late 1990's, by Lee and Carolyn Jacobsen, it was part of their ranch, used for grazing land.

The Island Park Cemetery is under the authority of a Community Cemetery Committee which operates and maintains the cemetery.

This is basically a new cemetery, it is not planted in grass, but is maintained with the natural growth of the surrounding area. All of the markers are flat on the ground, so when looking at it, you can not see any tombstones sticking up. It is surrounded with a wooden fence. Plots are available for purchase.

These records are complete as of the fall of 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
