Custer is a small mining towns West of Challis, Idaho off of Hwy 93.
It is situated about two miles upstream from Bonanza, Custer emerged because
of the rich quartz mines.
I have transcribed from a Biographical Work given to me by Dorothy
M. H. Wren. It was compiled by Dorothy Wren and W. G. "Bill" Haley a few
