Custer is a small mining towns West of Challis, Idaho off of Hwy 93. It is situated about two miles upstream from Bonanza, Custer emerged because of the rich quartz mines.

I have transcribed from a Biographical Work given to me by Dorothy M. H. Wren. It was compiled by Dorothy Wren and W. G. "Bill" Haley a few years ago. Additional information may be had by contacting me at the above e-mail address. A map of the area may be seen by clicking here.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
