Kings Cemetery is located about a 1/4 mile West of the crossroads of Highway 44 & Highway 169.

This is the final resting place of John Adams. John Adams drown while trying to lead a bull across the river just north of the dam in Adel. Also buried in Kings Cemetery is Howard Taylor. He was killed near the "four corners", when Dr. Criley came along in a new car and frightened Mr. Taylor's horses, upsetting his wagon and the fall from the wagon broke his neck, South side of highway.

I walked and read this cemetery on Apr 29, 2000. This includes all existing and legible stones and markers.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
