Treadwell Cemetery
Chatsworth, Murray County, Georgia

Lat: 34° 46' 54"N, Lon: 84° 47' 53"W

In Dalton GA, from I-75, take Walnut Street exit #333 east. Follow Walnut Avenue east through Dalton. Walnut Avenue becomes Hwy 52. Once you cross into Murray County, it becomes Hwy 76. Turn right onto Treadwell Road. (There is a CVS Pharmacy on the corner of Hwy 52 and Treadwell Road). Treadwell Cemetery is on the left.

There is a black iron gate surrounding the cemetery. I do not know who is the caretaker of this cemetery but it is in excellent condition (or at least it was in 2004).

I visited and gathered this information from reading the tombstones on Jun 01, 2004. The file is complete with all marked and unmarked graves listed up to that time.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
