To reach the cemetery from the community of Winston, GA, go south on Post Road for about 4 miles and make a slight right onto N. Helton Road. Continue for 3.0 miles and the cemetery is on the left.

This cemetery is located about 27 miles west of Atlanta out Interstate 20. Exit to Post Rd. turn left heading southwest for about 3.5 miles and make a slight right on to N. Helton Rd. go 3.0 miles and the cemetery is on the left.

This is a small family cemetary which is no longer used for burial. The family maintains it and it is in good condition. Oldest burial was 1858, newest 1927.

This is a complete listing of all existing and legible stones and markers, which I read when I walked the cemetery in the summer of 2008.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
