To reach this cemetery from Route 113 in Millsboro, take Route 24 West /DE 30 West 2.7 miles, turn right at Philips Hill Rd. (Rd 472) 1.7 miles on left at the intersection of Philips Hill Rd. (Rd 472) & Cross Keys Rd (Rd 432) behind the house.

This cemetery is small family cemetery mostly cleared and maintained by Bill Messick. It is a private cemetery on the Messick property and permission should be obtained to visit it. It is still used occasionally for burial of family members.

Dale Hart and I walked and read this cemetery on Jul 30, 2010. This transcription includes all existing and legible stones and markers at that time.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
