Dunkard Cemetery (Brethren Cemetery)
Limon, Elbert County, Colorado

Lat: 39° 13' 00"N, Lon: 103° 48' 28"W
T? R64W Sec 31

Contributed by Dorothy King, Feb 03, 2005 [bdking12@msn.com].  Total records = 7.

Located southwest of Limon Colorado on Hwy 24 then south on County Road 185, .4 tenths of a mile on the west side of the road.

This cemetery also has been called the Brethren Cemetery. It was owned by the Brethren Church at one time. It is well maintained and has a new fence around it now, however I am not sure who owns it at this time.

I walked and read this cemetery in 2002. It includes all existing and legible stones or markers.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
