Ophir Cemetery is owned and operated by Newcastle, Rocklin, Gold Hill Cemetery District.

History

Ophir Cemetery dates back to the Gold Rush days. In 1907, there had been some 85 grave sites. No records had been kept, however. Today, the cemetery accepts only cremains.
