History

Immaculate Conception Church was built between 1860-1861, and was originally named St. Mary's Church. In 1881 it was renamed to Immaculate Conception.

Burials took place around the time the Church was built. Additional land was purchased in 1888 from George Allen.

The earliest tombstones are from 1858 and the most recent from 1982. Most of the graves are from the 1860s, 1870s and 1880s.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
