Brownsville Baptist Cemetery Records
Cleburne County, Arkansas

Contributed by Karen K Mann, Mar 14, 2003 [kmann498@earthlink.net]. Total records = 168.

From Heber Springs, AR, take Highway 25 North to Drasco. In Drasco, turn left at the junction of Highways 25 and 92. Follow 92 (approximately 6-7 miles) until you see the Brownsville Baptist Church. The church is on the left.

This cemetery is in a well-kept condition. The oldest grave in this cemetery is dated 1888, which suggest it started about that time.

This transcription contains all visible stones and markers. Any exclusion of person or persons interred at this cemetery was purely accidental or no marker was present.

This cemetery census prepared and indexed by Debbi Speights and I by visiting the actual cemetery on Jul 22, 2000.

cemetery records

A free online library of cemetery records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

Clear Digital Media, Inc.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
