This listing is complete as of May 16, 2001, when I surveyed the cemetary and recorded these tombstones. There are 1084 marked graves. In addition to these marked graves, there are numerous unmarked concrete slabs for both adult and child. There are also a half dozen wooden markers with well worn paint and no visible writing. This cemetery is still in use.

The big rock memorial reads: Wolfridge Cemetary purchased Sep 24, 1907. Memorial erected 1938 by George Morris and Wilson Marble and Granite Works.

I have taken the liberty of adding information of which I have personal knowledge from my geneology research, from the Mobile Register Obituary Column when available, or Mobile County Probate Court Marriage Records. Any information in this listing that is not on the tombstone will always be found in () parentheses-my geneology research; [] square brackets-obituary column; or {} brackets-Probate Court Records.

Additional entries with an asterisk * have not headstones, information coming from family members.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
