Contributed by David L Montgomery, Aug 12, 2003 [dmont1734@comcast.net]. Total records = 9.

To reach this cemetery from Florence, Alabama, travel west on Alabama Highway 20 for 19 1/2 miles. Turn right (east) onto County Rd. 8 and go .6 mile. Turn left (north) onto County Rd. 116 and go 1.1 miles to the cemetery on the right side of the road.

This neat and well cared for cemetery is located in northwestern Lauderdale County, Alabama. It is a public cemetery, which means it is owned and maintained by the county, with no restrictions on who may be buried here.

There appears to be approximately one acre of land for the cemetery with plenty of room left.

All records were taken from the headstones and foot markers and are current. I completed this survey on Jan 11, 2004.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
