Jennings Cemetery Records (Husky Chapel Cemetery)
Fort Payne, DeKalb County, Alabama

Lat: 34° 24' 40"N, Lon: 85° 43' 26"W

Contributed by Johnny L. Williams, Mar 05, 2006 [johnnylwilliams@yahoo.com]. Total records = 21.

From U. S. Highway 11, take 3rd Street going east, merge into East Adamsburg Road. At the five way intersection, turn right on Dogtown Road and travel about 1.5 miles until you reach Jennings Road which deadends across from the entrance to the cemetery.

I found no history on this cemetery. It was near the Husky Church many years ago and some call it the Husky Cemetery. It was still in use at the time of this reading.

This cemetery was surveyed Jun 12, 1965 by Ralph & Louise Allred of Gadsden, Alabama. I have retyped and submitted it with permission.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
