Simmons Cemetery Records
Millerville, Clay County, Alabama

Lat: 33° 13' 11"N, Lon: 85° 58' 51"W
T21S, R6?, Sect 12

Contributed by Kimberly Foster, Oct 19, 2003. [kefoster70@hotmail.com]. Total records = 101.

To reach from Millerville take Hwy 148 northeast out of town for about3-4 miles, taking the road on the right to Glades. After Glades make one more right turn and the cemetery will be on the south or right side of the road. There are other routes one can take.

This is a small family cemetery which is still being used and is well maintained. There are many without markers and also many illegible or broken headstones.

I walked this cemetery on Oct 18, 2003, transcribing from all existing, legible headstones.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
