If driving it can be reached by taken the North Strand Road through Fairview, and turning left on the the main Malahide Road, keep straight out towards Malahide where you will pass McAllisters garage, and the school will be on your left, or you can take the No. 42 bus and get off at the stop pass McAllisters garage, and walk a few hundred yards where you will see the school on the corner, there is a lane way to the left of the school that leads into the cemetery.

This cemetery is situated behind Saint Sylvesters Infant School, Yellow Walls Road, Malahide. It is under the control of Fingal County Council, who runs and maintains it.

I walked this cemetery on the 7-14 Nov 2006, reading all existing and legible stones using a digital camera. This does not include all burials which have no markers.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
