Driving Directions

From Sherbrooke take Route 112 East toward Thetford Mines. When you get to Weedon watch for route 257 at the eastern edge of the town. Follow this road to South Ham and St-Adrien. Then take route 216 to North Ham (Ham-Nord) and you will see the cemetery on your left.

Cemetery History

The parish was created in 1865 and the first cemetery located in the town near the church was used until 1926 when it was moved to the new cemetery.  This area was part of the Township of North Ham, Wolfe County until about 1979 when it became part of the Arthabaska MRC in the region called Centre du Quebec.

The cemetery is actually quite beautiful overlooking a scenic area.

Cemetery Records

Records below were transcribed from tombstone inscriptions by Leslie and Susan Nutbrown during a visit to the cemetery in 2020. An additional 820 records for those buried without tombstones were transcribed from church records, covering a period of 1865-1940.

Legend: CR = church records (registres de paroisse)

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
