From Magog take Merry Street South which becomes Route 247 heading toward
Georgeville. A few miles before reaching Georgeville, you will see the
cemetery on your right.
This well maintained cemetery has been in use since 1811 and most of
the stones are in very good shape. Some design work has been done with
the construction of shale walls and a nice entrance making it attractive
and neat. There is a nice parking area. The cemetery is still used today.
I walked and read this cemetery in Nov of 2006 and did a complete recording
of all legible tombstones.
