Kingscroft, Stanstead County, Quebec

From Route 143 at Massawippi follow the signs for Kingscroft. Alternatively one could go south through the village of Hatley and arrive at Kingscroft. In Kingscroft, take Corey Road about 2km. The cemetery is on your left.

This cemetery was used mainly in the mid 1800s but there was a burial in 1999 so it is still being used today. There is no sign but the cemetery is fenced, gated and flat. A few stones are hard to read. The oldest stone dates from 1811. The most common surname is Sutton.

Susan Nutbrown and I visited this cemetery in June 2004, and did a complete recording of all existing and legible stones.
