Plummer Cemetery
Leeds, Megantic County, Quebec

Contributed by Joan Cruickshank, Sep 17, 2006 . Total records = 21.

From Inverness, Quebec, travel northeast on the Gosford Road, until you reach the 11th Range Road. Then travel East on the 11th Range Road for a short distance and the cemetery is on the left a bit back from the road, but clearly visible.

This tiny cemetery is one of many "orphaned cemeteries" that the Megantic County Historical Society have adopted and maintain. Both the cemetery and its 11 headstones are in good order. The earliest burial that I could find was in 1830.
I visited and read this cemetery on Sep 16, 2006. This includes all existing and legible headstone readings.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
