Saint Barnabas Anglican Cemetery

From Route 161 (Laval Street) in Lake Megantic continue south to Salaberry Street on your left. After a short distance on Salaberry watch for Wolfe Street and turn left here. The cemetery is a couple of blocks on Wolfe Street on your left.

This small cemetery is the resting place of the town's English speaking residents. It began in 1898 and is still used but there are very few English left in this area. The cemetery is quaint and well groomed with a sign and flowers.

Susan & Angela Nutbrown and I walked and read this cemetery on July 22, 2007 and made a complete recording of all tombstones.
