Miltimore Cemetery
Mansonville,Brome County, Quebec

Contributed by Joan Cruickshank, Oct 16, 2007 . Total records = 20.

From the Eastern Townships Autoroute 10, take the exit for Eastman, Quebec, and follow Route 245 South for about 16 km. until you reach the intersection at Route 243. Follow Route 243 South, to Mansonville, Quebec. A short distance after Mansonville, you will see Miltimore Road leading off to the right. Take that road, and this cemetery is on the right side of the road, a few hundred feet from where you turn onto it. The cemetery is hidden from the road, so you would have to watch very carefully for a path leading into the woods, which would take you up a hill to the cemetery.

This small family cemetery is on property that Daniel Miltimore purchased in 1812, and only family members are resting here. The Mansonville Cemetery Company takes excellent care of it, and the stones are clean and legible.

I walked this cemetery in October 2007, and transcribed from the legible stones to the best of my ability. Any information in brackets, or marked with an asterisk (*) came from burial records.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
