Saint Alban Cemetery
Rockton, Wentworth County, Ontario, Canada
758 Old Highway # 8, Rockton, Ontario
Concession 4, Lot 21, Beverly Township
Contributed by Murray E. Fair, Mar 23, 2010, last edited Apr 27,

Total records = 41.
To reach this cemetery, begin at Brantford, on King George Road
which becomes Highway #24, travel north to Osborne Corners, where
there are traffic lights. Turn onto Highway #99, a.k.a. as Governor
Road, and travel east to the village of Lynden. At the all way stop
intersection, turn left onto Lynden Road and travel through the
village and continue north several kilometres. Turn right onto Highway
#8 and travel east a few kilometres, watch for the road sign indicating
a left turn into the village of Rockton onto Old Highway #8. Travel
east through the village and watch for the Rockton Cemetery on the
north side of Old Highway #8, the main thoroughfare of Rockton.
This cemetery appears to be inactive as there are no recent
burials recorded there. As far as I could ascertain it is under
the direction of Friends of Saint Alban Church, Rockton, Ontario.
The grass is kept mowed. A few older stones have suffered some
vandalism
I walked the cemetery in March, 2010, reading and recording
the inscription from each monument or grave marker that I was
able to read. A few very old stones I was unable to read as they
are in poor condition.
