Pioneer Presbyterian Cemetery
Brant County, Ontario, Canada

St. George, South Dumfries,
Brant County, Ontario, Canada.

Contributed by Murray E. Fair, July 26, 2001 [murrayfair@rogers.com]. Total records = 143.

Located 0.5 km west of the main intersection in St. George on Brant Highway # 5 at Arena Road.

This submission represents all of the burials here that can be determined from reading tombstones in the cemetery in July of 2001.

These records were compiled from the reading of tombstones. There are a few stones, that due to the ravage of time and weather, they are no longer legible. A few stones have been badly damaged as well.

This cemetery is inactive. It is under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the County of Brant. Indications, from reading tombstones, that first burials may have taken place here in the early 1800s.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
