Clump Cemetery
South Dumfries Township, Brant County, Ontario

Lot 18, Concession 1, South Dumfries Township, Brant County, Ontario, Canada.

Contributed by Murray E Fair, Aug 21, 2008, last edited Jun 25, 2012 [murrayfair@rogers.com]. Total records = 18.

To reach this cemetery, begin at the intersection of Power Line Road and Highway # 24, aka King George Road, Brantford, travel north on Highway # 24 for 4.3 kms to the German School Road, turn left and travel west for 2.2 kms. The cemetery is located on the south side of German School Road.

This cemetery is under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the County of Brant. It is nicely maintained. It is no longer active and has not been for several years. There is some evidence of vandalism, stones toppled and broken stones.

This is a complete listing of all of the tombstones in the cemetery that I was able to read. Two stones, one broken in several pieces and the other one in poor condition, I was unable to read.

I walked this cemetery on Aug 19, 2008, reading and recording the inscription from each tombstone or grave marker that could be read in order to complete the transcription process.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
