Mohawk Chapel Cemetery
Brantford, Brantford Township, Brant County, Ontario, Canada

301 Mohawk Street, Brantford, Ontario

Contributed by Murray Fair, Oct 21, 2006, last edited Oct 15, 2008 [murrayfair@rogers.com]. Total records = 114.

This cemetery is located on Six Nations Land. It surrounds Saint Paul Her Majesty's Chapel of the Mohawks.

It is well maintained and it is inactive. The church and the cemetery are a favourite tourist site. For tours and information, you may contact the Chapel at (519) 756-0240.
I walked this cemetery in April, 2006, reading and recording the inscription on each tombstone or grave marker that could be read in order to complete the transcription process.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
