Entering Golden from the East you turn right on Golden Donald Upper Road, proceed 1/4 mile and the cemertery is on the right hand side of the road. If you are entering Golden from the West you proceed on the TransCanada Highway through Golden and up the big hill. At the top of the big hill you need to be in the left hand lane which is a turning lane. Turn left onto Golden Donald Upper Road, the cemetery is approximtely 1/4 mile on the right hand side of the road.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 122 Cemetery was established in the 1930s by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 122 for veterans and their families. This cemetery is still owned and maintatined by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 122, and it is still open to burials.

This cemetery was transcribed by Louise Rande, from headstone inscriptions in 2009. This includes all existing and legible burials. This work donated by Louise Rande, who has given the rights for the transcription to the Golden Museum. We also have a photo archive of individual gravestones.

    cemetery records

A free online library of cemetery records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

    Clear Digital Media, Inc.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
