The funeral home and crematorium complex was established in 1995/6 on Old Brisbane Rd, Monkland. It is opposite the mining museum and associated parklands, on the southern outskirts of Gympie.

The steep slope was terraced to provide parking bays, and areas for columbariums and garden memorials. An interesting feature is the large open book, which has recessed spaces for plaques.

Hedges and gardens divide the area into spaces and soften the expanse of parking bays and walls.

I transcribed this burial place first in 1998, with additions from time to time.
