Recording Cemeteries with Digital Photography

The top half of the desktop is my image viewing (photo album) software. The top left shows a tombstone photograph, and the top right are thumbnails of other photographs. The bottom half is an Excel spreadsheet which I use to enter in tombstone inscriptions. When I finish recording all the tombstones, I just delete the photographs, export the spreadsheet to HTML, and publish it to the Internet.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
