When submitting a transcription for a cemetery in Quebec, Canada, please be sure to identify the Historical County the cemetery is located in.

Look at our Quebec index page, and you'll notice that we've broken out the Province into "Historical Counties". These are the counties that were in place during the early 1980s. Generally, we don't use the current system of County Regional Municipalities, except in certain cases.

Also note at the bottom of our Quebec index page, we've listed two County Regional Municipalities, those in the Cote Nord region. We did this because we cannot seem to identify the Historical Counties in that area.

Please note that if you are planning to produce a transcription of a Quebec cemetery, be sure to identify the historical county.
