The Samuel P. SOULE children have been laid to rest apart. Axia (b. OR) is at Riverside with other pioneers; Merril sleeps under the Tualitin plains (OR); and Janie, a winsome 15 year old, was laid to rest in 'God's Acre in South Bend'. Since nothing shows up on the records for 'God's Acre', and in researching the other local cemeteries where she could have been laid to rest...we can't seem to find out where the 'God's Acre' is.

May Janie forever rest in peace.
