Ebenezer Cemetery
Whaleyville, Worcester County, Maryland

From Route 50, take Route 610 N (Ebenezer Church Road) toward Selbyville. The cemetery is directly off of 610 (on the left) on the corner of Ebenezer Road.

This cemetery pretty much boarders Bishopville. There was until less then one year ago, a church on the cemetery ground. It was known as “Old Ebenezer Church”. The abandoned church was very old and run-down, and because of this, it was burned down by the local fire department.

The cemetery was previously not in very good shape but it has since had a facelift and is in great condition, with the exception of a few broken stones.

I walked and transcribed all existing headstones on Aug 09, 2002.
