To reach this cemetery from the town of Turon, take W Sun City
Road (E Price Street) west for less than a mile. Turn south onto
S. Raymond Road for 1/2 mile. The cemetery will be on the left or
east side of the road.
The Turon Cemetery was established in 1886, according
to the sign. This is a well maintained cemetery & is still active.
There are approximately, 3,000 graves in this cemetery according
to the care taker.
I walked and read all existing & legible headstones and markers
on Apr 10, 2006.
