Welch Graveyard
Shelby Township, Jefferson County, Indiana

This graveyard is located east of Canaan on Scotts Ridge Rd. 2 & 2/10 miles from Highway 250 on the south side of the road. I updated this graveyard in April 2000.

*I did not find this stone but the name was recorded on the DAR list of 1941.

**All that was left of this stone was part of the death date, the other info came from the DAR list of 1941. Also a note on the DAR list says, a stranger came to the Welch home and died that same night & was buried here. The family did not know his name.
